XO5 is a variation of game tic-tac-toe on google wave. As the name itself says, ‘X’ is for first player, ‘O’ is for second player & whoever reaches 5 in a row wins!

Pick Several

Unlike other poll/vote gadgets “Pick Several” allows  user to select multiple choices & vote. Gadget updates number of votes right away when user selects the option. This gadget is useful to run “Select all that applicable” kind of voting system.

[Game] Collaborative Sudoku!

Collaborative Sudoku lets wave participants to play Sudoku collaboratively! Gadgets stores user’s contribution in completing Sudoku. It keeps track of right & wrong entries made by a user & ranks a user based on that. So, it displays ranks of users playing Sudoku based on their participation. “Updates” shows whether a user filled the right or wrong number by displaying Username with +1 or -1.

Google Wave maps gadget lets participants of a wave to collaboratively edit map using markers & other tools. Participants can add tittle & description to their markers. Edits by a user will be visible to other participants once user clicks save. This gadget is very different from Trippy. This gadget is multi purpose which you can play around to share your place, route etc with friends. But, Trippy is more concentrated on planning a trip, creating an itinerary ..etc.

Though options to access Google My Maps & save created map to Google My Maps should have been awesome.

Likey gadget adds Like/Dislike links to any blip you want. Likey collects & displays how many liked & how many disliked a blip. An user can also change his/her selection anytime. This is quite similar to other voting gadgets, but very simple.

Graphy is an amazing bot which helps users to create graphs & flowcharts collaboratively. Add a marker #!dot inside anywhere inside the wave & graphy starts doing it’s job. Just after #!dot start typing expressions which needs to be converted into flowchart. For ex: a->b b->c c->d d->a c->e e->b creates a flowchart as shown in the picture.

Planning a trip with friends & family was never been so easy & interactive. Trippy is a Google Wave gadget developed by Lonely Planet, travel information & travel guide portal which makes it easy & fun! Add trippy gadget to your wave & start by searching for the location you wish to go. Trippy loads map of that location & loads recommendations from Lonely Planet. Recommendations are very well categorized which helps you find places in a particular category. User will also be able to read reviews of a particular place inline inside the map. Now the simple drag & drop begins! All the users in the wave can simply drag & drop places which they want to include in the trip. Trippy has clean interface to schedule places into different days, add a comment, edit information of a place etc, which are really handy.
