Google Wave maps gadget lets participants of a wave to collaboratively edit map using markers & other tools. Participants can add tittle & description to their markers. Edits by a user will be visible to other participants once user clicks save. This gadget is very different from Trippy. This gadget is multi purpose which you can play around to share your place, route etc with friends. But, Trippy is more concentrated on planning a trip, creating an itinerary ..etc.
Though options to access Google My Maps & save created map to Google My Maps should have been awesome.

Likey gadget adds Like/Dislike links to any blip you want. Likey collects & displays how many liked & how many disliked a blip. An user can also change his/her selection anytime. This is quite similar to other voting gadgets, but very simple.

This is quite simple, PlusOne gadget adds “Thumbs Up” & “Thumbs Down” inside a wave. All the users on the wave will be able to vote it up or down. The gadget keeps track of all the votes.
Google Wave gadget Brainstorming helps wave users shape their ideas collaboratively! It’s a simple idea tree which participants can add, edit, remove nodes. Brainstorming has different shapes & colors to make it look more interactive.
Soundcloud player gadget for Google wave lets you play music from soundcloud.com. Get the link of a track from Soundcloud, put it in the URL text box & click “Set url”. That’s it, Soundcloud player starts playing the track which you have selected. User can also enter a user profile URL or a group URL also & in this case all the tracks on that page gets converted into a playlist. One really good feature which should have been there in this gadget is Co-Creating a playlist with individual track links. Which can let all users in a wave to add tracks & create a playlist. Hoping to see that feature in next update.

Trippy is a Google Wave gadget developed by Lonely Planet, travel information & travel guide portal which makes it easy & fun! Add trippy gadget to your wave & start by searching for the location you wish to go. Trippy loads map of that location & loads recommendations from Lonely Planet. Recommendations are very well categorized which helps you find places in a particular category. User will also be able to read reviews of a particular place inline inside the map. Now the simple drag & drop begins! All the users in the wave can simply drag & drop places which they want to include in the trip. Trippy has clean interface to schedule places into different days, add a comment, edit information of a place etc, which are really handy. User activities are logged in “Recent Activity”, so you can always look back who did what. Once the itinerary is complete, user can email, print or export it to Google My Maps.
