[Robot] Create your own user groups on Google Wave with Invity

Posted by Prashanth On December - 2 - 2009

Are you waving with same set of people again & again? And tired up adding them into new waves again & again? Invity is the perfect solution for you. Invity saves current participants of a wave into group which can be used later to add an entire group into a new wave. Invity helps in managing your contacts in groups & makes it easy to invite them all in one shot to a new wave.

Just add Invity to your wave & it loads a new blip giving you option to name the group & save:

invity

Now create a new wave, add Invity & select which group you want to invite to the wave:

[Game] Lucky You: Gambling on Google Wave with fake money!

Posted by Prashanth On December - 1 - 2009

lucky you

Lucky You is a gambling game for Google wave which can be played for fun with friends. Participant has to bet on a number (0-9) with money he wants to bet. Gadget allows user to select a number within 30 seconds & randomly selects a number 10 seconds after that. So, user can’t make any selection in last 10 seconds. If the selected number matches with the one Gadget picks, 5 times of your bet amount will be added to your account. Every user will have $100 of fake money to start with & it changes as he wins/looses his bet.

Note from the author: Apologies for delayed gadget reviews

Posted by Prashanth On December - 1 - 2009

When I started the blog, I created a form to submit Gadgets & Robots to review. I was regularly checking that spreadsheet & nothing was submitted in initial days. Gradually I stopped looking into it. Today I opened it after a long time & surprised to see so many review requests. I’m really sorry for this, I have now set email notification for each submission. So, I won’t missout on any submission from now on.

If you are one of those who submitted Gadget/Robot for review, expect a review within a week.
